Scottish Schools Swimming Championships

Congratulations to Kara Hanlon who has qualified for two events for the Scottish Schools Swimming Championships in East Kilbride on Saturday 28th January.

Kara qualified as 8th fastest overall for the 200m breaststroke and 5th fastest overall in the 100m breaststroke. Kara has done very well to qualify for this event considering it is a National event, and we wish her all the best for her training!

Scottish Schools Indoor Athletics Championships

Anyone wishing to enter the Scottish Schools Indoor Championships which takes place on the 9th February should speak to Mr MacCorquodale or Miss Arthur. Here are the standards for the championships, athletes must meet the standard to be considered for the event.

North District Cross Country Championships

North District SASA Age Group Meet

Well done to Kara Hanlon who competed on Friday and Saturday at the North District SASA at the Inverness Aqua Dome. Kara had a busy weekend competing in 6 events in the 13/14 age group. Although competing over two days in what was a busy schedule, Kara had a very successful weekend recording personal bests (p.b) in 4 out of her 6 events which is incredible.

200m Freestyle: 2.31.18 (new p.b)
100m Freestyle: 1.05.36 (new p.b)
200m Backstroke 2.44.69 (new p.b)
200m Breaststroke: 2.54.14 (4th Place finish)
100m Backstroke: 1.14.39 (new p.b)
100m Breaststroke: 1.17.11 (Silver Medal!)
