Kara Hanlon S3 was away competing in Peterhead last weekend. It was a demanding weekend for Kara as she had multiple races over two days.
On Saturday Kara swam to a personal best (p.b) in the 100m freestyle in 1.05.27. Kara also got a silver medal in the 200m breaststroke in 2.48.02 just short of her p.b.
On Sunday Kara smashed her 100m backcrawl p.b with 1.13.80. In the afternoon she qualified for the final of the 100m breaststroke and in the final put in an fantastic effort to win the gold medal with 1.15.82.
Absolutely great performances from Kara yet again. Everyone at the Nicolson is delighted to see her get rewarded for all her hard work that she does in the pool week in week out.
